Thank you for taking sometime to read this article, I can assure you the message is going to change you to become more positive in your words. 
One of the greatest way of communicating is through words. Words are ways of communicating between two or more entities. Words carries a spiritual power to them.  
Prayer, Incantations, Recitations,Prophecies and Affirmations are all made through words whether positive or negative, word is the medium for all of them. 
Your words are a reflection of your mindset. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. If you want to know what's dominating the thought of another man, listen to the words of his mouth. 
Blessings and cursing is in the words, life and death is also in the tongue, what you say most of the time goes ahead of you to create your reality. 
If you always speak negatively, your life ends up negative and likewise, if you always say positive words, you create a positive reality for yourself. 
Proverbs 18:21 puts it this way: “The tongue has the power of life and death.” The odds are high. Your words can either speak life, or your words can speak death. Our tongues can build others up, or they can tear them down. An unchecked fire doubles in size every minute. 

Have you ever wondered why things have not really turned out well for you. Maybe you should take a look at your everyday words, the words you speak to yourself and others. Most of you find it easier to curse than to bless, some prefer to condemn than to uplift. Your words should always be a blessing to others because it has the ability to alter the minds of others. Look at what Proverbs 15:4 “Gentle words bring life and health; a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.”  


It is better for you to remain silent (learn to be silent at times, Proverbs 10:19 says  “When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise”) than speak negatively, let your words speak peace, wisdom and positivity. 

Let your words be a balm to someone else distress,let your words be seasoned with kindness, let it be a comfort to others, make it a point of duty to always fill your mind and mouth with positive thoughts and words. They have the power to bring you the blessings you deserve. 

If you guard your words with gratitude and the word of God, you will live a life of peace, abundance and victory. 


The tongue is small but it has the power to set the whole place on fire, watching what you say both in the physical and spiritual realm can bring you great rewards. Remember your prayer would have more power to them when they are filled with words of upliftment and faith.
